One of the errors committed by a pilgrim is facing a direction other than the Ka`bah while performing Salah

A 3: Spending the night at Mina on the Day of Tarwiyah on the night before the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah is a Sunnah and not Wajib (obligatory). Therefore, there is nothing on the pilgrims who may have neglected this whether they spent the night at `Arafah or any other place. The direction for Salah is the noble Ka`bah and it is impermissible to face `Arafah Mountain or any other place during the Salah.May Allah grant us success.
